Strange how fascinated I was, clicking away at all the pictures of old light bulbs. There's still something magical about them and the older ones had a soft, amber light which the new ones no longer have. Cheers, quonsar! This glass phase of yours is proving very interesting. Miguel, as a matter of personal protocol, I generally address people on MeFi/MeTa by the name that they have supplied to the community. If you wanted to be Miguel here, you should have called yourself that :-) I hate it when people shorten my name, as in I introduce myself as David and someone says "nice to meet you Dave", so always address people by the name that they give me when introductions are made. Venues such as #mefi are a much less formal atmosphere (and require faster typing), so the "rules" are more flexible.
