Luft '46 - WWII German aircraft projects A great resource for aviation enthusiasts and alternative historians. Aspects of some of these designs can be seen in the most modern planes, like the B-2 bomber or the Beechcraft Starship 2000.

Haven't been all the way thru the site's offerings yet, but I'm hoping to find the aircraft that Indy rescues Marian from in the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

alumshubby: guess what plane I was trying to find when I got into this page. The plane in Indiana Jones was their own design at least according to Indygear. Which in itself is a site worthy of an FPP. Many of these designs were also used in Microsoft's superb action flying game.
