Heh, that page is buried away in my bookmarks from eons ago, mostly because of this page of algorithms for fun physical simulations.

And I must say that Terragen has improved greatly since I last looked at it. That's not to say that I wasn't impressed by the massive polygons of the time, of course.

Very interesting. Has anybody here compressed anything with the Bink codec? Also, I would love to see anything (of a manageable size) that anyone has made with Terragen - I say go ahead and self-link away!

taz, I found links to several user galleries with many way-cool examples. (Or maybe you know about this and are just asking about MeFi user works.)

Thanks Tubes - I found several animation files in that group that were lots of fun - and, yes, I was sort of curious if we have anybody here who has done some of this sort of work.
