If you use the Metafilter search, set it to "since day one". The text you enter is searched exactly, so vice fund works, but fund vice and vice fund x does not.

If you use the Google option, exact phrase searches work best. If you add quotes, "vice fund" returns two links to the original thread.

What a rip. They allow investing in gambling, alcohol, and weapons, but no sex! I want the sex fund, so that I can put my money into supporting strip clubs, sex stores, adult websites, brothels, and pornography!

Until that time, however, I'll just have to try to support them the old fashioned way...

I read the list of good areas for investment and tried to decide just how depraved I am - I discovered that I could bring myself to invest in gaming, but not tobacco; in alcohol, but not aerospace and defence.
