Well that made no sense.
Although I feel oddly at one with the duck.

So.. anyway this buddhist wants to be one with everything, and he goes up to this hotdog salesman and he says ... damn ... damn ....
No. sorry. I told it wrong.

I spent more time reconfiging the keys than I did playing...whoops

I learned that human suicide is punished with duckhood.

Yet ducks get bumped up to human status when they top themselves!

kenaman: you are obviously not one with the duck.

My internet explorer plug-ins (such as flash) are all turned off and so the game, for me, involved staring at a black, blank page.

It was very Buddhist.

Look carefully - a duck is mentioned, but you're given a goose.

I prefer this Tao instead.

Comparison to Nethack:

Better: fewer ways to die, death less sudden and more predictable, much more time to ponder meaning, more open, less obsessable.

Worse: Izchak's comments and some of the Oracle's are more revealing and enlightening, less freakin' cool stuff.

Personally I prefer the Google ad for Christian Fundamentalists that is "obviously" related to Buddhist adventure gaming.

The duck is not moving. Your mind is moving.

Yes, let go of your attachements in Life, they will only impede your journey towards Nirvana.

If you just fall off the edge, you go straight down. However if you jump off some parts of the edge, it sometimes appears you catch briefly onto a ledge of something, before continuing to plummet. However this could just be a glitch.

There should be a strawberry to eat before you fall off the edge ( or the tiger eats you).

This game is easier.

funny! nice link. i like little idea games like this. someone else posted the one where you're a fish eating other fish, gradually getting bigger, until you max out the whole ecosystem... that one was funny too.

...and that completes our rundown of Buddhist in-jokes.
