IN AFGHAN PROVINCE, POPPY PLANTING HAS STRONG APPEAL It isa good to be freed from the constraits of the Taliban and to engage in capitalism at the global level. Chhers for the family farmers.

The Taliban banned poppy crop in mid-2000.

Last time you posted on this topic, postroad - Afghanistan leads in poppy production Now that we have rid the country of the nasty controlling party, it is good to return to normal business so that exports can help make this a better world. That was a poor example above, not knowing the thc level in the hemp crops. New freedoms seem more like open laws when first starting out then with a better governed land this may end, like the wild wild west. Thought the UN was in charge of Kabul too.

Taliban banned poppy crop in mid-2000.

..only after holding western countries hostage financially to do so. Then they confiscated the entire countries stockpile of opium and didn't burn it. The Taliban were makeing money off it one way or another either directly through selling or bribes not to grow/sell it.
