Here is my Bender costume from this year. While not as true to life as this one it did win me a 10GB iPod at our work Halloween costume contest.

In episode S04E01 - Roswell That Ends, after time traveling to the past, Bender is left behind buried in the desert in 1945 only to be dug up 1055 years later by the crew in the future. I'm guessing he was just dug up recently to party in Vegas and now has returned to his slumber in the desert.

He is from Futurama, which is a show created by the Simpsons' creator Matt Groening, but which is not strictly speaking a spinoff (there are no characters in common between the two shows).

Futurama's rise in excellence pretty much corresponded with the Simpsons' decline. Then there's The Family Guy, an outwire of wonderfulness that was killed off far too soon.
