Divrsional, this seems like just an advertisement to me. Is there anything special about this site that I haven't noticed?

Hey, I'm Kate and I am a taurus.
I love tomatoes and
black-capped chickadees renting out cabins.

it looks fun, but it's too expensive...woodstock really has been booming lately, with tons of cityfolk ; > moving up there.

Hmmm, let's see...Lazy Meadow is 130 miles from New York City.

Roundtrip cab fare would come to about $545.41
(including late-hour surcharge and optional 15% tip).

Door cover and drinks at the bar on Avenue B
run by Handsome Dick Manitoba would amount to--

--Aw, the hell with it.
Living a punk rock lifestyle these days is just too expensive.

(Wait, you're the young'un, aren't you? Or is that orange goblin?)

Oh, I got the B-52's gimmick. It just didn't seem to warrant a FPP post, that's all.

But Smart Dalek, it's only 15 miles to the Looooooove Shaaaack.

Jpoulos, Orange Goblin is in his teens, I believe. I'm 30 - plenty old enough to sing Love Shack word for word.

Do the rooms in the Love Shack have Love Sacks? (Warning: another advertisement linked to a mild pun)
posted by dhacker at 6:36 PM on November 12, 2003

Okay, it's far too late to make an honest comment after all this horsing around, and maybe it's just me, but I really dig Kate's decor. I'd go! Although I don't think I'd pony up the $7,000ish in cab fare to get from here to there.

majick: JetBlue will get you to Kennedy for about $150, at which point we can fit about six or eight MeFites into my Cherokee for the 2 hour trip.

Do you suppose Kate cooks a turkey on T'giving?

Maybe she molds one out of tofu, similar to the Spam Lamb concept on M*A*S*H*.
