.Le peuple migrateur is an amazing movie

And it features a beautiful song by Nick Cave ("To be by Your Side").

Interesting but irritating. The quick fade-in fade-out between three different frames was irritating. Each little snippet only lasted about 2 seconds, which really isn't long enough to see what's going on. Just about the time I was visually focusing in on an object, the frame would fade transition to a different object view, and then THAT would change quickly again. Would have been better (for me) to have a single, longer clip.

One more thing - if the source was photos, not video, then the "shaky" background is a special effect, and not an actual artifact of reproduction. It was also irritating, for the same reason I stated above.

merging photography and motion

And SOUND! I was working on some audio mastering, and this site nearly blew my ears off. Please, kindly warn us next time.

Aside from that, it's very pretty.

Actually, it's more merging sound and video, Bruno Coulais is a film score composer for about 25 years now, and maybe you have experienced his work before "Le Peuple Migrateur" in "Microcosmos" ( the film with macro-filmed insects ).
Full info at imdb

The design is actually by frank borsato who appears to host his client's files on his ISP account :p

After a little investigation, Coulais's real url is brunocoulais.net and opens a window loading the free.fr hosted site you discovered.

I couldn't tell this was a composer's site.
It looked like a woodsman/trance DJ's site.
