47 MPH Fastballs and a Catcher as the winning pitcher. It was one fun day in the ballpark. Besides a weird box score, the Atlanta-Colorado game also featured a brawl.

How does Todd Erdos get a save coming in in the 6th inning and the scoree 11-1? The only things still needing saving at that point were the arms of the rest of the bullpen and everyone's postgame dinner plans.

Todd Erdos pitched for 3 complete innings in relief.
(The radio broadcast said that atleast 3 complete innings pitched to end a game qualifies as a "save" provided the pitcher is not the winning pitcher.)

Yep, that's right. It's one of three ways to record a save.
