This will be interesting. I wonder whereabouts they plan to do it. Most of the areas that would be 'suitable' (ie -- not barren desert) are populated to some extent.
Watch in (insert emotion here) as the Survivors(tm) interact with a native!
They'd relocate a town or two if they had to. CBS made something on the order of 850 bazillion dollars on this little show, and (to take a page out their champion's playbook) they'll do whatever they have to do to keep it going.
Maybe they should bring this guy back as returning champion. posted by chicobangs at 8:05 AM on August 24, 2000
watch in shame, perhaps? am i the only person who feels a visceral disgust when this show is mentioned? posted by sudama at 8:41 AM on August 24, 2000
They've already found the location they're going to be using for Survivor 2. There was a brief blurb near the end of the Reunion bit that showed Jeff Probst (the host of Survivor) at the new location.
It's really quite breathtaking. There's a great big waterfall, craggy outcroppings, all sorts of nifty "Hey, this doesn't look like the Crocodile Dundee Outback!" scenery. posted by cCranium at 10:37 AM on August 24, 2000
