Aha! Telemarketers ARE the Devil Incarnate. I always suspected as much...

You are not "masking [your] fear of what may happen to [you]" when you make comments such as this post, quonsar. You are simply trying to be witty. The fact that your punchline was set up by the gruesome deaths of two young children makes you seem callous and incredibly disrespectful. I imagine that doesn't bother you, but your coldness is certainly bothersome to some of us humans.

Hmm.... First the flying elk, and now the pitchfork-wielding telemarketer... maybe Fate is trying to tell us something.

I did not post the flying elk. Guilty on all other counts.

I think the most tragic thing about this is that it is absolutely guaranteed to be turned into a movie-of-the-week by one of the networks in time for the November sweeps.

Ok, eric, so he was just trying to be funny.

See my comment on the other thread, willya?

Nope, Steven. Only just enough of it so when we hear the "based on a true story..." tagline we'll think, "oh yeah ... there was something about that ...". But not enough of it so that they have to pay anybody to use their story.

Of course, that's not what the agents descending on the town are telling people ...
