Corporations responce to AIDS

Here's a pragmatic look at why companies like De Beers and British Petroleum seek to combat the spread of HIV. Can this be an example of how an act of self-interest can also be an act of humanitarianism?

Anglo American's HIV page. In their case they have to combat it . If they don't they'll lose almost 40% of their workforce.

It must have been horrible for De Beers, Anglo-American and the rest of the lot to watch how Subsaharan Africa went into complete disarray *overnight*.
