Just for the record, I am NOT Wendigo, I am not related to Wendigo, I'm not even sure what a Wendigo is (or El Wendigo, for that matter), and I am NOT suing a cybersquatter for the Wendigo.com domain name.
Thank you, MetaFilter, for allowing mne to get that off my chest. And anybody who calls THIS self-linking is cruisin' for abusin'.

One of my turntables has a 16 rpm setting, so except for Riothero this is a game we can all play. I would be mad at Chaz for being the first person to ever call me old, but then I found the link to naked pictures of Natalie Portman on his website and all was forgiven. When I was 23, I refered to my self in the first person. I was bit by a rat, and got painful shots. Aladfar is 23, he talks about himself in the third person. What does he get? Some web design job! There is no justice. I will write to Aladfar in 10 years and call him an old fart, it is now in my date book. Neale, crank them cartoons out and I will spend my bandwith on you.

Go for it, wetboy, just be sure to include a disclaimer that it should not be confused with other Wend----s, either living or dead (not sure which group I belong in this weekend)...

And, maybe a disclaimer that the baboonish-shaped Wendigo should not be confused with other cartoon baboons.
