Nah, any site that lists Amadeus as a musical and leaves out South Park:Bigger, Longer, and Uncut doesn't cut it in my book.

Missing a few. "Pennies From Heaven" (1981) was unfairly savaged at the boxoffice, by fans who were expecting Steve Martin to keep making "Jerk" movies. It was a gem of a movie that wasn't even available in any format until very recently. Still can't get it in DVD, and they're now just offering it in VHS. Pursuant to Miguel's recent Jacques Brel thread, I note that they are FINALLY going to be offering "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" (1975) on DVD. It had hitherto been unavailable in any form (same for the soundtrack). And where's "The First Nudie Musical" (1976)???

Brilliant find, hama7 but never has a post left me so depressed. Twenty years ago João Bénard da Costa, the director of the Portuguese Cinemateca, and I spent six years and four large, thick volumes compiling a full filmography of the American Musical. My single-handed contribution was the last volume (scroll down to #8 in this bibliography of mine) where I listed and commented on every song written by every composer for every one of the 2,000 key musicals. This I did by hand, with the help of my mother and a team of two friends and one indexer, on file cards. And then typed out. It was the hardest drudge of my life. And now - presto - it's all here for free, at a click of the mouse. I hate hate hate the Internet! ;)
