Loudon Cty needs an AOL detective (via WP.com)
Confirming my suspicions that AOL users are all criminals. It seems that the only thing about AOl I hear nowadays is this-or-that criminal, or this-or-that victim, a.k.a. "sexiecxique129" or "discostude09" in the AOL chatrooms, was brutally defrauded of identity by someone calling themselves "When_This_Story_Breaks_Everyone_will_Judge_me_by_my_ridiculous_AOL_Handle56171:)"

I don't know how from the linked article you conclude that all AOL users are criminals... Although, it does support the theory that many AOL users may, in fact, be deluded saps who think that creating some clever "screen name" somehow gives them anonymity.

Sorry.. I meant potential criminals. All AOL users are potential criminals. At least those that choose screen names like "lonelywife69" (Are we really to believe that the handles lonelywife(i) for i = [0..68] were already taken? I think so.)

Since about half the internet users in America have AOL accounts, it's easy to conclude that half the internet criminals in America have AOL accounts. Perhaps even more likely, because they're easy to get if you want a throwaway identity.

"One warrant a day" is about 365 a year, assuming that counts every day and not just weekdays. If AOL has 30 million users, that means ....

I'll let y'all do the math.
