Pictures of the tin-foil apartment - a New Year's Eve prank taken to the nth degree...

My first reaction to that story when I first saw it was, "He'd better have a good humidifier, because the static shocks are going to be killer."

(Um, aluminum foil. Tin foil is best reserved for this thread. ;)

Even the toilet paper. Talk about anal retentive.

I love the "Warning -- ground self before urinating" warning on the toilet.

even the toilet paper.

Yeah, but they just wrapped the whole roll. If they'd really been dedicated, they would have unrolled it, wrapped the paper and then rolled it back up.

Thats what they did do! Or so I read here: Trerice and his friends unrolled the toilet paper in the bathroom, enveloped the bath tissue in aluminum foil and rolled it back up again.. found it at vbb

Oh my.

I am glad my friends aren't so dedicated to pranking me that they'd do something like that!

oh, and there's a pic of the toilet paper. wow.

This is among the best pranks I've heard of but what an amazing pain in the ass it must have been to clean up.

I'm glad my friends are neither this geeky or dedicated.
Still, cool pics and a great story!

Actually, I don't think there'd be any problems with static, as static electricity generally only builds up on non-conductors.

Life is better with nutso stuff like this going on.

I wonder if this prank was inspired by the cover art from this album by the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. Derivative or not, I must still tip my hat to one of most crowning achievements in the history of prankdom. Salud!

Question: did they wrap the Hershey's Kisses, or are they left in their natural state? On second thought, it really doesn't matter, does it?

I have been hoping someone would post pictures about this prank.

The one thing that wasn't wrapped was a book about playing pranks on friends. I love that.
