downloading the video footage. Cannot wait to hear the racket of all the ping pong balls. posted by a3matrix at 6:14 AM on January 26, 2004
Cool! How did I know this took place in Japan? Now I want to see the ping pong ball avalanche in a huge clear lexan box filled with one million set mousetraps. posted by Shane at 6:22 AM on January 26, 2004

Whoa. I am sufficiently motivated to drive to work through the snow to watch these. Thanks, srboisvert! posted by carter at 7:23 AM on January 26, 2004
I went to a talk a while ago by a guy who does this sort of thing for a living. He had videos of the ping-pong balls, and had a small scale demonstration with those polystyrene balls you put in bean bags. It was very impressive. posted by Singular at 9:26 AM on January 26, 2004
