You wouldn't by chance live in Prague, would you? posted by rocketpup at 3:51 AM on February 6, 2004
Simply brilliant. Thanks for turning me on to a new artist to watch. posted by fluffycreature at 5:15 AM on February 6, 2004
Truly bizarre, and bloody marvelous as a result. posted by MintSauce at 5:25 AM on February 6, 2004
I'm more scared of the sort of person who purchases and subsequently hangs one of these things on their walls. Can you picture a girl and a guy meeting in a bar, the guy says, "Hey, let's go back to my place" and the girl is confronted with one of those paintings hanging over his bed. posted by Civil_Disobedient at 6:03 AM on February 6, 2004
Yes, Civil_Disobedient, I wouldn't want to see any sort of unconventional art in that sort of situation. My Goodness, no. posted by jon_kill at 7:29 AM on February 6, 2004
Great site. These are awesome. Thanks homunculus. I want a print of the mildly indignant one. posted by Ufez Jones at 7:41 AM on February 6, 2004
When I bring a girl home, only a picture our leader GWB hangs over my bed. posted by stbalbach at 7:41 AM on February 6, 2004
Unconventional art? Is that what you kids call it now.. I think that stuff stinks. It stinks like the cheesy sock-subject matter would stink if it'd been lying at the bottom of the laundry basket for 6 months. I don't think Civil_Disobedient is scared of unconventional art, just scared of people with bad taste. posted by jiroczech at 7:45 AM on February 6, 2004
Fantastic stuff. I liked some of her non-sock stuff better, however. In particular, I cursed when I saw that Self Portrait Post Suckerpunch was sold. posted by dobbs at 8:21 AM on February 6, 2004
I want one! Unfortunately, between new car and increased condo assessments, it's not happening.
Sigh. posted by me3dia at 9:55 AM on February 6, 2004
I would rather have this above my bed. The final image before sliding off to sleep with someone... posted by drinkmaildave at 11:00 AM on February 6, 2004
