I hit my forehead in shame at the human race whenever I read stories like this. Who, exactly, are the pathetic vocal minority who are "shocked" and "angered" by these sorts of products? I mean, really, what's their address? Do they realize that hemp oil has been used in cooking since Adam was a boy? Here in Australia, similar pathetic wowers have been "up in arms" about Australia's Favourite Biscuit now being available in flavours like Tia Maria. These snacks are 99.9% alcohol free. Rum and Raisin Pudding contains more alcohol. Hell, breath-freshner probably does. So what's the big bloody problem?

Who, exactly, are the pathetic vocal minority who are "shocked" and "angered" by these sorts of products? I think they're the same that were offended by the exposed breast at the Super Bowl. I say that making noise about such nonsense only heightens the curiosity of those they are trying to "protect."

A child might do this, a child might do that.... When it comes to drugs it seems anything can happen except parenting. Not to mention its not society's job to babyproof the world. I guess it easier just to continue demonizing certain drugs than face the real consequence of explaining one's hypocrisy (think alcohol, tobacco, youthful indiscretion) to one's kids.

heh. flags. pfft. Back in 98, Hong Kong's Narcotics Bureau actually bothered to investigate the hemp-based products of Body Shop, to see if it broke their drug laws, while France and Sweden straight out banned the sale of the stuff.
