She wanted to get on television, and she got it, guy. She knew there were risks making a show like that, and she signed her rights away. If she was looking for true love and not fame, then she didn't have to go on tv. Why would you feel sorry for her? Not that you can't, I just don't see a reason.

She knew there were risks making a show like that, and she signed her rights away. I doubt that the average person with the questionable-level intellectualism to enter a televised dating show would consider the concept that her match would in fact be a humor writer seeking personal profit out of deliberately looking for ways to be a horrible person. It's kind of why I've never laughed at Crank Yankers or the Jerky Boys but think some of Tom Green's stuff is hysterical- there's a difference between watching a person make an ass out of themselves and watching someone cause suffering because they're an ass. I have little sympathy for people who cry foul about how they're treated by "reality" show producers but I'm not going to feel unsympathetic for a hapless bystander to someone else's self-pleasuring malice just because the camera's on her too.
