Somehow this sort of record setting exaggeration of the commonplace always seems to come from India. Whether it's the guy who memorized pi to 10,000 decimal places or the record for facial hair growth, or the guy who stood in the same spot for a decade, Indian culture has seized on this sort of extreme repetition of the mundane as a means to attain transcendence. What will they think of next???
