Do you really mean to tell me that you can't walk down the hallway of any art school in America and see a dozen not dissimilar and in many cases much better drawing pinned to the walls or crumpled up in the waste baskets? My heart goes out to anyone named Prunella, but why single out her particular inept scribbles for praise, when the world is positively choking with stupendous, productive, energetic and much more idiosyncratic artists of every gender and in every medium? Clough's stuff is crabby, offhand, and uncommitted.

I remember going to see some original art at the Berkeley museum, it staggered me. I got a real contact high off the stuff. Art is subtle matter. Good, great art approaches high physics in its contribution to true knowledge. This woman is good. But I would bet it would be great if you could see the actual objects.
