Admittedly I haven't looked up the authors of the animation, but the cow reminded me of the one in this flash animation: "I'm a Cow.". Oh, and BTW, I think this is an awesome parody of the Simpsons. :)

I ask my authoritative sources on "what's funny", and they said: It should have included a minute or less of "an episode"; anything more would have worn the premise out. Murray is a much better name for the convenience store clerk, though my sources liked "Al" or "Arlo" for their similarity to Apu.

I get this weekly e-mail comic too (consequence of being an amrikan gori surrounded by a bunch of british asians), which was linked by the comment "What would happen if The Simpsons decided to outsource their show to India?" ;) I was poking around their site this morning and saw that the Singhsons was seemingly created for a client called The Funjabis as part of "a few 1 minute animation spoof pieces for one of the leading South Asian Comedy Shows in the UK." (google cache) But there was no link with it for more animations, alas.

If we weren't going to get an episode, we should've at least seen Apu's counterpart rather than Chief Wiggum's. But it was funny.
