School installs unisex toilets The headmaster claims not to have seen Ally McBeal. I have to wonder, though. But let's face it: it's going to be horrific.

Well, I guess I've gotta give them points for bravery. I hope the BBC runs a followup story at the end of the semester, or something. I wanna know how it turns out.

why would someone in their right mind test this out at a school for teenagers!?!

this could work anywhere except where teenagers are involved.

Everyone knows "separate but equal" is a load of crap. :)

This is a good move, if only to make teenage girls' restroom experience as bad as teenage boys'.

From where I stand, the entire mass-schooling experience looks horrific; little tweaks like who uses what bathrooms don't seem to make much difference in the overall misery.

I'm all for it. My high school completely sucked bathroom wise. The boys bathroom had no stalls, and you had to go to the office to sign out for toliet paper. However, the girls bathroom had stalls, and plenty of toliet paper. It really sucked.
