Aurora Borealis, at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen?

Sorry, but the Microsoft plug-in requires me to be running a browser they like, and apparently Mozilla 1.6 don't cut the mustard with Mr. Bill. Perhaps if I bought a stamp ;)

It sure looks like it was a cool site though.

Cool. Now maybe I'll have more to look at than the inevitable clouds when the Aurora Alarm sends me an alert.

"The Northern lights have seen queer sights..."

And now I can see them for the first time in my life. Thanks, Feisty.

For some reason I am strangely attracted to this site. ;) So this is what it really looks like (not the dim flicker you see in the northern part of my state)?

Belated thanks. Although I keep forgetting to check at night (and per terrapin, I might not be able to load it anyway), even the archived photos are stunning.
