I love Treet. It is so much better than Spam. Better taste... less fat... The best is fryin' it up (which I guess due to the amount of fat, it pops around the frying pan.. almost like it is alive) and eating it with the off brand of macaroni and cheese. Delicious!

OT, what exactly is supposed to be so funny about the Onion's current lead story? In general, they seem to laugh at disabled people when they're out of ideas, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Also, one guiding principle that the Onionfolk seem to have missed is that in the Chip Food Group, cheaper=better. The fancy-ass gourmet chips almost always taste terrible, whereas the 2 bags for a buck cheapo chips are often fantastic. Curious phenomenon, that.

Give me Pringle's Firey Hot or Lay's Smokey Applewood Mesquite BarBCue Spicy Zesty Cheddar Delight. Yum! As to the Treet vs. Spam Wars...meat in a can scares me. Phew! You and I part company here, bud. One of the things that makes the in-laws' parties so horrifying is the dreaded Store Brand Potato Chip. I'm not talking about store brands. I'm talking about stuff like Utz and Herr's and Wachussett and other brands found in corner stores and bodegas, as opposed to Terra Chips and Veggie Booty and all that nonsense. As far as canned meat goes, I was raised on Underwood Deviled Ham Spread and still love it. Vienna sauages are always a nice treat too.
