This guy is like the Yogi Berra of the music world. Very entertaining.

Hmmm. I wonder how many of these are misremembered to make them more entertaining. I find it hard to believe that Ormandy would correct himself to say Blumine was the 4th movement of Mahler's 1st. It was never the 4th, would make no sense as the 4th, it was originally the second. This makes me doubt the accuracy of the whole list. But it's still entertaining, and probably largely true.

Yikes, I was about to make the very same comment, Johnny!

Soyjoy, the same is true for Yogi Berra and Sam Goldwyn "quotes" -- it's hard to know which are authentic, and which were dreamed up by an enthusiastic PR guy.
