Thanks, casarkos. I'm not familiar with Aargon, but I enjoyed this simplified (?) version. (Then again, when you've got a 57-page business plan to deal with, any distraction is valuable.) Now I'm waiting for my 10-year-old son to get home from school before venturing into the double-digit levels. posted by lelilo at 10:06 AM on March 26, 2004
Devilishly good. I feel properly humbled. posted by kahboom at 10:09 AM on March 26, 2004
Okay, I like these, but man do they make me feel dumb sometimes. I am toasted at level 8.
Mind you, I am a litle wiped out mentally from a trust issue in the midst of a domain migration, but still...It feels good to get one right, and then...I feel shame. posted by Richat at 10:17 AM on March 26, 2004
You'd think that having studied optics for 3 years this would be easy, I can't get off level 11. Man do I feel dumb! posted by john_son at 4:12 PM on March 26, 2004
I'm on level 21, but I think I've run into a buggy level... there's a landlocked second laser, and nowhere near the pieces necessary to connect the light bulbs. Also, when I ask for a hint, it gives me nonsensical locations to put pieces (on top of bombs, etc.). Anyone else have this problem? The code to enter this specific level is "ps/2". posted by khirasaki at 5:38 PM on March 26, 2004
khirasaki: yes, it's buggy. The original has gone pay-per-play, but you might be able to find a working mirror by searching with "reflections", since it's the games original name. You wouldn't believe how long I tried to solve that 21. :/ posted by lazy-ville at 5:46 PM on March 26, 2004
I've done 21 password for 22 is rambus. posted by john_son at 8:26 AM on March 27, 2004
Level 21 is not buggy, just kind of odd. Any first move that doesn't block the bottom laser will blow the bomb it's aimed at. Once that's blocked, you can proceed from there. Without any trouble? posted by lelilo at 8:29 PM on March 28, 2004
