Best. Baby. Site. Ever. A huge reason: Trixie is cute. Other reasons: TPOD and the telemetry, oh the telemetry! The charts are amazingly thorough, and funny. Definitely part of what makes this site such a delight is Trixie's dad, whose entries are witty and thoughtful. As a new dad myself, with my own baby page, I'm impressed, but I imagine this'll be good readin' for all, parents or no.

Reality check...a dad to be or a new dad care not just about their own babe but also for others they spot when out and about...soon,though, that changes and who cares for other babies? Only women and moms say ga ga goo goo no matter where or when they see a young-un...not the manly thing to do! Darinian stuff at work here?

wake me up when the baby'll learn how to balance a stack of pancakes on her little head. then I'll be impressed. sorry but I'm pretty immune to the cuteness factor of the smell-of-puke and glazed eyes that seem to be a key factor of little babies' charm. I also fail to be amused by a little person's inability to control her/his bladder and bowel movements -- more scary/disgusting than cute, imo. anyway I admit it's just me.

babies rule. being a dad rules. being married rules. when you are married and a dad you being to see how a lot of unmarried undad(momed) people are kind of, well... no need to say it out loud I guess. all of the people who know, know. And the poop and pee / diaper stuff really isn't that bad. It just seems like it from afar. Spoken as one who was pretty worried about that aspect of the process.

I wanted to write a web app for our home intranet where my wife could keep track of their feedings so that we could get accurate statistical data about how much they were eating and I was going to set up alerts that would email us if their feedings deviated from the norm by a user-selectable percent. She thought it was about the dumbest thing she ever heard and kept a feeding log on a little notepad. She didn't even demarcate the days or AM/PM so I couldn't do it myself. Oh well. She did humor me by keeping track of how many diapers and how much formula our girls ate in the course of a day. The Trixie site is funny, but I hope he's devoting as much time to her as he is to this site. I think it would be hard to do, but maybe he doesn't watch TV or go to MeFi.

Trixie's page: wonderful! I love it! I'm hooked ... and for what it's worth, I do not have any children, so I can vouch for the "interesting to the childless" factor. As for Jeremy's page: Mmmmm...not so much. Starfucking is starfucking, regardless of whether you use your baby as a tool.

This is a bit late, but after comparing the outlines of the Baby Jeremy's head with that of the actors and look at how sharply Jeremy's head is outlined against the background, it looks like these pics might be photoshopped. I'd be interested in others opinion on this.
