Will the promise of the other side of heaven tug at your heartstrings? About four-dozen of the watercolors of Daniel Merriam are on display at the Louis Aronow Gallery online.
Very nice indeed, Shane - great find. There are several other artists in that gallery too, but you found the real gem, imo.

Many of the images mentioned above are included in his 'Art of Dreams' 2003/2004 calendars. (I don't want to plug for amazon, but you can find them there.)
Another watercolor artist that I've loved is Lisbeth Zwerger, who has done a lot of illustrations for classic children's books. I'm surprised that she hasn't showed up on Mefi so far.
