Great link :) Rubber band fights were one of my favourite pastimes as a kid. To this day my sister flinches when I mention the word rubber band.

I rule this game! (and flinch more than your sister I bet, as my bro was pretty mean player too..) Bazookas, sniper rifles, mini crossbow and the sawed off shotgun are my weapons of choice. Ever tried a classic rubber band duel?

We used to have rubber band fights at work on slow afternoons. The offices were all in a row, with windows lined up-if one was skillful one could shoot a rubber band from the receptionist's chair thru three windows onto the office manager's desk. (We didn't aim AT her as we liked her.)
One of the employees used to surf her chair at about 4pm on Fridays. Yes, actually stand ON the chair and surf.

Good times.

This brings back many a memory of many, many wasted nights.

Maybe this can be mixed with Killer for a MeFi Meetup sometime?

I have an excellent method of shooting rubber bands that looks awesome and puts a spin on it as it flies off your finger (not hitting it, mind you), therefore making it accurate, fast, and giving it a whooshing noise as it flies. I can't find the site (maybe it was a usenet post) that I originally learned it from, but I'm by far the best at it in my group of friends, and they're all leary of me whenever I have a rubber band. Rubber band fights rock.

I don't know if this is the method described at the page as it is over the bandwidth limit (and the google cache doesn't have the content).

Yep, link seems dead for the day, sadly. Wierd that the google cache doesn't work. Seems like the sites been around enough to be cached. Odd. Wonder if google's cache updated with the "can't show page" page. Bad cache, bad.
