I've never watched more than five or ten minutes of the show, but I know people who were longtime fans, and now I can discuss it intelligently with them. If that's not an oxymoron.

Growing up, I watched every episode of MacGyver; so this link is amazing to me. Thanks, yo. If Airwolf, MacGyver and the A-Team all got in a fight, who would win?

It's a rock paper scissors thing, sciurus. A-Team can knock Airwolf from the sky, who can in turn riddle MacGuyver with bullets, who in turn is smart enough not to lock the A-Team in a machine shop alone for a few hours.

I thought that the series had progressively fewer and fewer MacGyverisms as the show went on - now it seems I was right. They should have stuck to their strengths. Deep drama wasn't really one of them - super cool uses of obscure scientific knowledge was. (Now I will date myself, as say that one of the reasons I watched so much MacGyver, other than the fact that it was a very fun show, is that there were almost no guns; my mother really dislikes them and didn't want her children watching gun-based shows. Now that I've grown up, I agree with her - besides, who needs a gun if you're MacGyver?)
