Here's an idea: learn a bit about John Kerry's past and connections before deciding on "protesting Bush", voter registration and so forth.

111, feel free to post some links investigating Kerry's past and connections. So far, I have looked up his Project Vote Smart info. He has, unfortunately, declined to fill out an NPAT, like every other Presidential candidate I can remember. There's information about his voting record, scorecards from interest groups, and links to a opensecrets campaign finance data. This data is currently less available for Bush (except for campaign finance) for some odd reason. Anyone know why?

amberglow: In a long ago post I linked to an article by Thomas Sowell (one of the few right wing pundits I have some respect for) called "We don't need more voters, we need better voters." It's offline now and I can't find it anywhere, but I often wonder if the basic sentiment isn't true. Of course, mobilizing voters that *I* want to vote is a good thing.
