I know this is probably a crappy post, and I saw this on a Google ad linked here. Does anyone see the irony in this Bush campaign product?

When do we get the 'good' Bush term?

It's supposed to be funny because he used to be a drunk, right?

The T-shirt version is broken too, yo.

That was exactly the same link, Eekacat, and it's still invalid. They seem to be protecting links from external sites by returning an error page; it works when you navigate to it from the store site itself. Direct Image Link.

You should learn to trust your instincts, Eekacat.

The FPP link works just fine for me.

Yes, and I should make a better post by getting more links to strange campaign promotions, it's just that I am tired and cranky this morning. The point wasn't that it was funny, but that it was a strange way to promote a candidate, especially considering his admitted history with alchohol abuse. My most sincere apologies, and hopefully this will get deleted....

Sorry to be critical, but if you thought your post was crappy, perhaps you shouldn't have posted it? Just a thought.

All I wanna know is; when's Absolut Vodka going to sue? They've got a case, haven't they?
posted by soundofsuburbia at 9:26 AM on April 15, 2004

Not if Kerry worked out a licensing agreement with Absolut too. Isn't that all that's needed to set up a market deal with them? I mean, they're not exactly picky about spreading their brand in all kinds of directions.

Yeah, it's not the World's Greatest Post Ever Ever, but there's no need to sue Eekacat for Crimes against the Front Page for it.

Is this what a dry drunk drinks?

Does it go well with pretzels?

Absolutely!

More evidence that Republicans and other like crazy religious nuts just don't know what irony is.

Man, I want something tasteful with Bush's name on it, not some vodka ad knockoff.

You know, like maybe a pocket mirror or one of those tiny spoons.

I know you're joking, but vodka is tasty and W knows that all to well.
