Gates and Allen setting up thier own (safety) .NetIn the past three months, Gates has sold 4.15 million shares valued at about $291.2 million, while Allen has sold 16.26 million shares valued at about $1.2 billion.

Keep in mind that Gates still owns 741 million shares and Allen has 126 million shares

Gates has been slowly selling shares of Microsoft stock for years; this isn't news.

Being two of the richest people on the planet is pretty useless if you can't actually spend some of that money.

The big-ass computer controlled houses don't get built for free...
