Friends, this is why there's an Interweb.

PS: If I ever get around to hosting the Souther Appalachian 'filter meetup, I'm thinking about a friendly kickball game between MeFites and MoFites. Not much to do with badgers, unless we use it as a team name. Oh well. Enjoy.

That may be the single stupidest thing I've ever seen.

I'll get back to you when I'm sure.

Now, is that a lady in the back left, or merely a long-haired gent?

Because I have reason to believe that no females were involved in the making of this film.

The best part is the laughing - for you would think that by the time they set up the video camera and got all the college freshman to assemble in the student lounge, it would have ceased to be funny to them.

if there were even the remotest possibility of any female involvement whatsoever in these poor bastages lives, they wouldn't be filming reenactments of the badgerbadger flash now, would they?

Yeah, I dunno. I guess we can referee. Or in the crazed duality of MeFi-MoFi nature, watch our heads explode in conundrum.

Would you all think less of me if I told you that when my son was down here on spring break we all sat around here singing "badgerbadgerbadgerbadger" complete with mushroom AND snake?

Actually, I've created an improv warm-up game based on Badger-Mushroom-Snake. My students demanded it.

Oh crap! They're getting the neighborhood kids in on it, too! When will it end?!

even the remotest possibility of any female involvement whatsoever in these poor bastages lives

Well, they do always have their desktops.

Never trust the wily Nederlander; that server is not the original source of the clip. At least as far back as January, it existed on the server of the Montreal 2600. There's also this bit of educational video from Quebec, the province that brought us Kevin Mackle.

Ghugle, it works. The hand positions are obvious -- a fist for Mushroom, Mushroom, a fist with thumb and pinkie out for Badger (wiggling them up and down is a bonus) and an extended index finger for snake.
