Murder-by-snakes - Was this a recent TV show plot or something? One of the best books I've read in years, Bangkok 8, starts out with an American marine in Thailand being thoroughly disposed of in a moving car by a lot of seriously angry little snakes, plus a large boa constrictor.

lelilo - I'm not so juiced on the minutia, just the broad vista. Box of speedy snakes!....... always a notable death, and for many reasons. Take this thread. But, I'd swear that snake death was once a more common plot device - and that it ebbed a little in the 90's.

I'm nearly certain that the the well-documented 90's snake death dearth has its' roots at an airbase near Mena, Arkansas.
