NIcely done, I still don't understand the whole pre-crisis and post-crisis stuff. I also don't understand how Superman came back from being dead, and whether he is now a being of energy or back to his old self again.

Some of the sections are dreadfully outdated. The last paragraph on the X-Men mentions that one of the newest members of the team is Psylocke. Still...pretty fun to see summaries of the stories I read as a kid.

Riffola, the Crisis stuff was to clean up the DC Universe. I've never read "Crisis on Infinite Earths" myself, but I've read about it. It was an attempt to reconcile the fact that there were DC characters from World War Two that had disappeared, as far as I can tell. This is a pretty good synopsis of the series. I think I remember that Wikipedia has a decent explanation of it, but Wikipedia makes my computer slow.

And let's not even get into how Zero Hour tried to fix all the things that Crisis didn't address, or how Hypertime Geocities link is supposed to make it all not matter anymore ... Great post !?

Yes, but originally was on eclipse for the first 10 or 11 issues, then moved to the marvel subsidiary epic (or do i have those backwards) where it got to 100 issues before moving to dark horse. I have everything up until then, but that was when the indies were having a gimmick/price war with the big-guns, part of what caused the industry to crash. Published by marvel should still be in the marvel universe. Just another example of the corporations holding the cheese-dip loving barbarians down.
