Reminds me of that old "Operation" game.

This is demonic. Must...win...

If you liked that, you'll LOVE Space Taxi. For the C=64, of course.

I can't get past the second rest zone. I give up.

Space Taxi 2

i remember that bouncing silver ball from the C-64 version, but it still makes no sense at all to me

93 seconds, suckers.
posted by rocketman at 1:10 PM on June 3, 2004

I can totally beat 93 seconds. Just give me ... the rest of the afternoon.

The spinning whirligig thingies are giving me fits.

weird. after Rest Zone 2, i get a message claiming i'm going the wrong way and then it's over. no electrocution, though.

i guess i'll try another tack. that error seems bogus.

I've got that top row down to an art form.

79 seconds!

This is probably one of those flash games where having a sluggish computer actually helps.

48 Seconds.

Any ideas what those boxes say?

57 secs.

phew.
posted by Succa at 1:44 PM on June 3, 2004

I got 57 seconds too. It's well put together.

As far as any hints that may or may not be hiding there in plain sight, we need a translator. Because I refuse to learn any of them furren languages. (U-S-A! U-S-A!)

40 seconds. Everything is timed out precisely, and do rest in rest areas.
posted by TacoConsumer at 3:29 PM on June 3, 2004

53 seconds, on something like my 10000th try. I can practically smell the burnt hair.

too hard--here's an easier one-gold miner--for wimps like me : >

If you pull down real fast right at the start you can just kinda 'pop' into the second rest area right away. Moving from there at all gives you that error though. Maybe you need to hit the first rest area longer.

It serves no useful purpose for there to be a bunch of chompy, crushy things in the middle of a hallway!

I got to 41 and 42 seconds eventually. I began thinking of that "Start" sign as a sort of disposable-astronaut dispenser.

space taxi was an awesome game.

this one, I didn't like as much.
posted by Busithoth at 4:34 PM on June 3, 2004

That game isn't that hard...

It might be that I've just spent too long playing Kuru Kuru Kururin on the Game Boy Advance, though. Looks like the game only got a Jap/EU release, missing out you 'merkins for some reason... odd.

I got 40 seconds and I still see where someone could shaved off 2-5 seconds.

missing out you 'merkins for some reason... odd.

America often misses out on quirky games. For example, Vib Ribbon, and Mojib Ribbon. At least GBA carts don't have country protection.

(whereas Japan rarely gets games from outside Japan, and Europeans have to suffer with low quality PAL conversions, and toned down violence, so no region gets it all)

It's not as fun as CURSOR LOVE BUNNY.

make sure you turn the sound up good and loud when you play it.

22 seconds! really!

Note that the file is called finaleasy0110.swf, don't want to think what finaldifficult must be like...

This is exactly like The Irritating Maze, one of my favorite arcade games.

i got 58 seconds on my first go.

can't be bothered trying again.
