Looks like a very interesting film. I wonder what sort of distribution it will get here in Canada. I hope to be able to go see it.

Interesting, in the "Director" section it is explained that it wasn't done using motion capture, but done by hand (keyframing). The Chris Robinson review/article was particularly excrutiating to read.

They screened Ryan recently at the Canadian Film Centre's Worldwide Short Film Festival (mouthful). I wanted to see it, but damn the way interesting events always conflict with other life commitments... As it is being distributed by the NFB/ONF, I'm sure the film will play on TVOntario, will screen on CBC, will be available for viewing at the NFB's Mediatheque, etc. once the film finishes the festival circuit.
