Oh, come on now! Who hasn't joined the Communist Party at one time or another on account of a hot girl?

I haven't, but there's always a first time!

Comrade, is that The Communist Manifesto in your pocket are you happy to see me?.

Both actually.

Full marx to them for this recruitment campaign; I'm hot to trotsky.

Now I'm obviously not the best observer of this, but to me these girls look extremely average, and even slightly reduced by the unflattering lighting in the photographs. If these are the "hot young communist girls", I shudder to think of the ugly old ones!

National Bolshevism? Sigh.

These guys are not communist. They are a "nationalist" group that uses communist symbols partly as a reference to Russian glory, partly as irony...
The NBP in their own words...
ARE YOU COMMUNISTS/MARXISTS? Marxism is an interesting Philosophy which, among other things, explain the laws of Economics, and as an interpreting tool of history. As a political dogma, Marxism is an anachronism. No, we are not Marxists or Communists, but we proclaim the rights of the little Man against the plutocrat Elite, and is thereby 100% Socialist.
Check out the cover page of their site.
Their leader is Eduard Limonov, a writer and exile contributor. Here is a brief, admiring, note about him.

These be more like Nazis than Commies. As it stands, a fringe movement. Although so was the Nazi party in 1920's Germany.

Unless Russia gets its act together, it could become quite an incubator of unsettling political parties.

No worse than the USA or France.

ed\26h - My choice and sentiments exactly.

I for one would gladly vote them into power if they could provide mail order brides of her quality in quantity. The Russian communist party has long been quite adept at managing supply and demand.

New? Yes.

Prettier? Um, isn't this the same country that produced Anna Kournikova and these are the best models they could get?

And where's the page where you can order your bride?

Come and keep your comrade warm!

fenriq -- these aren't models. They're party members. The National Bolshevik Party has a policy of pornographic realism.

Like talos said, it's just Eddie Limonov stirring up shit. Imagine if Howard Stern were a hardass writer rather than a goofball radio host and decided to start a political party. Or something like that; there's not really an American equivalent to Limonov. At any rate, don't take it seriously in terms of the political scene, but feel free to enjoy the pageā€”and keep coming up with those zingers; so far, Pericles is out in front of the pack.

Dude, you're missing the point! Hot chicks! Look!!

Also, I recall with fond memories how I used to own a hammer-and-sickle armband like those in the pictures. I wore it to class in high school one day and because of an uptight teacher, I ended up in the principal's office. Good times, good times ...

The women are easy on the eyes, but the effect is spoiled by the armbands .
