Some interesting things here. I always had a hankering to live on a houseboat... Here are some made out of prefab parts and shipping containers.

I've recently taken a boat from Gent (Belgium) to Amsterdam via the many inland waterways that are and have been permanently inspiring (both in art and science) to the locals. I've been very close to some of the stuff on the site, as well in other truly amazing places.

Travelling this way is relatively easy and relatively cheap in any way you care to consider, so get your boat (many options available, *no licenses required*) and get going. It really is a treat in many many ways.
