Wow, that MTV guy is big! (Sorry, had to say it.) The sculpture's antennae eerily capture the distorted video images of the first moonwalks. The "DGAF Bears" on the same site are also cool.

They looked neat but I didn't stick around as that's hands down one of the worst designed web sites I've ever seen. Every time I moved my mouse over a photo a pop up with "fig 2"', "fig 3" etc appeared in it. and there are 3 vertical scroll bars for one window. :)

i'm with dobbs on this one... why can't 'artists' design websites that are actually able to be seen. or is that too reasonable a request?

That website was really irritating; I had wanted to check out some of his other work but after stumbling through all those scrollbars and popup messages I just gave up. The sculpture, however, seems really cool. I like the concept of reproducing the ghosting effect with a smeared-out, vibrating, partially transparent sculpture. That's clever thinking.

I thought it was interesting how the blurry effect was made - with a LOT of coat hangers. Agreed, not a fabulous website design.

I can dig it. Especially like the concept of using a cheap material to render a very expensive object. Interesting juxtaposition. Ditto other comments on the cool "blur" effect, itself a high tech "effect" achieved by low tech methods. Cool.
