For we who loved the book, the photos are wonderful....and poignant, given Chris Pirsig's death outside San Francisco's Zen Center in 1979.

In 1992, I drove the exact route Pirsig took -- from Minneapolis along Route 12 through South Dakota and into Miles City, Montana and Yellowstone. Simply amazing to read his descriptions and see what he saw. This is awesome -- another way to appreciate one of my favorite books. Thanks for the link.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is sure hard to navigate. I still can't find the chapter on sorting out transmission troubles on my Triumph Bonneville!
