Found photos are only as entertaining as your faculty to fill in the missing stories. Some people get sucked into that process and love it, others look at the finds and say "so what?" posted by scarabic at 7:33 PM on July 17, 2004
Joke dude, please don't fly off the handle at me. posted by will at 7:36 PM on July 17, 2004
Are these supposed to be randomly found photos? Most of them seem to belong to the same 20-something subculture or group of friends. posted by skallas at 7:54 PM on July 17, 2004
Whoops
>these were found by doing a search using p2p programs.
These aren't found photographs, but culled from shared directories. Explains why there are large groups of the same people. posted by skallas at 8:03 PM on July 17, 2004
There's so much drama and pathos in this photo. Whomever selected these images did a great job. I just wish they'd hvae put a little whitespace between them. posted by Nelson at 9:32 AM on July 18, 2004
Excellent. Scarabic is right about filling in the stories for the pics. You either love this kind of stuff or you don't dig it at all. I love it. Thanks, hama7. posted by squirrel at 12:59 PM on July 18, 2004
Scarabic, I missed this one. I'm astonished by the fashion requirement to display one's Hello kitty boxershorts way up outside the trousers. I'm guessing it's Hello Kitty, I can't see the actual design. The background looks a bit too grey to be Hello Kitty to be honest, maybe it's little fluffy sheep, or Totoro. posted by chrid at 2:14 PM on July 18, 2004

That was great. Funny, and a bit poignant; so many people trying to have fun and looking like dorks in the process. It restores my faith in the human race. posted by Mars Saxman at 4:22 PM on July 18, 2004
Excellent post!
Reminds me of the Trachtenburg Family
