Some nice online jigsaw puzzles from a specialty puzzlemaker, from quite simple to rather wickedly tricky. Or try out these not-so-easy photo jigsaw puzzles without the "jig", or sink your teeth into something heftier, like this Tubular Bells jigsaw (at Mike Oldfield's site) by Smoke and Mirrors, or these Doonesbury jigsaws. Altogether too much work for a Sunday? Then just lean back, relax, and take a tour of Big Game Hunter's jigsaw puzzle gallery.

Figuring the hyperpuzzle out wasn't too difficult. Getting all of the pieces to fit not only together (that was also easy) but on the same line in the visible space was a beeyatch.

Yay! Another puzzle fiend. I'm doing the black and white "Taxi" one from Doonesbury right now, which is fun. Pretty tough, though (- again -) if you really had all the pieces to just spread out on the floor it would be easy with this number of pieces.

I'll try that one now. Two other things: First, it was very surprising to see a photo puzzle of my hometown (Budapest). Secondly, some of their Java applets plays HELL on Safari. Wow. Crashed twice already...

cool puzzles -- thanks! but... did you see the prices on their puzzles??? who is buying these?? I realize they are hand-made and that is why it costs so much, but I can't believe there is a sucessful business for this. I wonder if they allow visitors. Might be cool to see them do their thing if I'm ever down their way.

Not this company but my friend designed the Luna puzzle and paid to get it made. I believe it cost at least a hundred dollars, but it made a truly unique gift to give to someone.

Very nice. The figurals are a great idea. I also love the "dancing edge" puzzles. If I had a few buckets of money, art puzzles would be something I would treat myself to every now and then. fooljay - Budapest? You're only a couple of countries away. Maybe we'll pull in Ljubljana for a meetup!

Figured out the code to the wickedly tricky one by getting a few two letter combos, but didn't have the energy to try and piece it all together into one word. Terribly annoying.
