Cripes. People get degrees in design for doing this crap. About half the time they use the word "communicate" or a quote by Eric Gill.
Nice to see that machines can masturbate with graphic design as well as humans can. posted by argybarg at 3:05 PM on July 19, 2004
I kinda agree with argybarg here. This is artistic the way someone in the seventh grade using PhotoShop for the first time is artistic after discovering "hey! I can make the text change color!" and thinking that a REALLY good picture requires you to use every single tool at least once somewhere on the screen. posted by XQUZYPHYR at 3:29 PM on July 19, 2004
XQUZYPHYR, you just sent a chill down my spine as I recalled my commercial arts classes back in high school. all the gaussian blurs, twirls, diffrence clouds... *shudder!* posted by mcsweetie at 3:38 PM on July 19, 2004

Well, you could sell it as a ransom note generator, y'know, to avoid all that messy cutting and pasting out of magazines and newspapers... posted by WolfDaddy at 3:45 PM on July 19, 2004
Reminds me of a fun application freely downloadable at Move Design called n-Gen. It can give you some good ideas for text/image layout. posted by planetkyoto at 3:46 PM on July 19, 2004
Nix the ransom note generator. I tried to make one that said "MEFI GIVE ME ALL YOUR PANCAKES OR THE GIRL LOSES A TOE. NO FUNNY STUFF." and it was the sucks. Oh, well. Back to Time magazine and the newspaper. posted by WolfDaddy at 4:16 PM on July 19, 2004
I put my name into the magic box and it came back with something pretty. Maybe I'll make it my new business card.... posted by spilon at 5:06 PM on July 19, 2004
