Good luck. Why would you have a website "Kerry Edwards" when running for President? Anyone have Kerry Edwards in 2004?, ect... Heard a woman, think it was N.C. had an enormous amount of phone calls when Edwards was added to the ticket. Her name, Kerry Edwards.

Edwards' first names Wendell, yea Edward in possession form, is not a first name. Like I said: "what do I know." Yet from my experience with working with names. One day it could be a baby's name because a parent goofed on the spelling. It could happen with a parent becoming accustomed to hearing it with the added "s." I've seen many names spelt funny. The parents put the blame on the effects the drugs while giving birth. And or a hasty hospital staff wanting the birth certificate filled out promptly. Mentioned it before, have seen Daniel spelt, "Dannyell" Was thinking John Kerry John Edwards. John John, made me think of JFK jr. Think if this guy succeeds it will be purchased by a supporter.

There's no reason you have to SELL a domain name. A friend of mine has the last name of a big department store chain and also a large real estate firm. He registered the domain way back in 1994 but has never used it. He regularly gets offers to sell teh domain for some nice amounts of cash. I told him to forget about selling it and to lease it instead. Most companies only care about the webspace the domain occupies. As long as you're not putting up a web site at the domain or competing against them, they're more than happy to pay you a monthly or yearly fee to lease the domain from you. That way: you get to keep the domain and have some nice, regular income and they get to have their web site at the domain name of their choice. It's win-win.

I saw this guy interviewed (on CNN I think) a week or so ago.... I don't see any reason to think its a fake. At that time his site was still up, and yep -- it had pix of kids and stuff. He said he'd been contacted by Kerry HQ about selling it, and had also been contacted by more than a few right wingers. He said he just wants to get as much money as he can, regardless of who buys it. I think auctioning it is a great way to settle it. High bidder wins. Ain't that the American way? Lucky bastard...

kerry is the name of the usa democrat presidential candidate. edwards is the name of the person recently chose to run with him (as vice president, i guess). the other names mentioned are other people who might have been chosen to run.

Re: strangeleftydoublethink The reason the whois information has fama pr listed as contact is because they are the pr firm contracted by sedo. See http://www.famapr.com/clients.html. Sedo is the company managing the auction, so it would make sense that the contact be their pr firm.

I knew the presidential candidate was John Kerry, but I didn't know about his vice-president (or whatever). To be honest, my interest in the US presidential race isn't all that high and as such I've not seen any/much TV coverage of it over here. Anyone who takes votes away from Bush is good in my book.
