World's Finest, Sandy Collora's new "trailer" featuring the the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight. (Quicktime required) Also check out his previous fan flick Batman: Dead End.

The story seems like it would be a little thin (not surprising I guess since it seems like the trailer is all there is). The casting is remarkably good though. I'd certainly see it if it ever got made.

Zip files? Lame.

Dead End is worth checking out for the action + costumes. It's just one big fanboy wet-dream, and it has some horrible dialogue (about four lines' worth), but it depicts Batman as a total badass.

This is the type of Superman/Batman film I'd like to see - enough of a nod to the comics and continunity without having to "revision" the franchise or add all sorts of directorial twists and elements (rubber nipples, anyone?).

These fan films and trailers are definately the Fanboy wet-dream, but at the same time fill a real need, transfering much more from the comics to the screen than previous attempts.

I applaud the effort but I sure am tired of seeing super hero movies with damsels in distress.

The trailers and short films that are being made by the fan community show that technology is leveling the playing field. The MPAA shouldn't fear the piracy of their content but instead start fearing the amateur filmmaker. It won't be long that even more expensive genres such as action film are no longer out of reach and then amateurs will start creating their own material for full length film rather than borrow as liberally as fanfilm always has.

Actually the best Batman Superman movie has already been made.

Both of those clips were pretty damned cool, and who would have thought Boner would make a decent Joker?!

That's not the best.

Mattress of Solitude is the best.

Sorry for a review link rather than the actual item, it seems to have evaporated.

I didn't. And I still don't think he does.

Terrible short, and I hope that Sandy Collora's name won't keep popping up every time Comic-Con rolls around.

The trailer was good, but, you have to keep in mind that most of the shots were dialog. There were hardly any of the kinds of special effects you'd see in a summer blockbuster.

It was pretty impressive for an amateur job, but that's all it was.
